The EagleTac M3C4 XP-G R5 is the next generation of famous EagleTac M2 Series. It is a compact 11 Watt high output LED flashlight offering 800 O.T.F. lumen (1000 LED lumen) at turbo mode and a maximum of 100+ hours regulated runtime at 15 lumen low mode.

The tail-stand tail-cap receives a new durable protective coating. The package also come with a para-cord lanyard with darken holding clip that fits in the tail-cap lanyard hole. The controller ring also receives the new durable protective coating.
The Flashlight head and the body are o-rings and square-rings sealed for operating in harsh and wet environments. Reverse battery polarity protection has been implemented on the battery tray for each battery channel. The water-proof tail-cap now uses stainless steel 304 mounting screws with hex heads.

Operation:
Dial the operational ring to turn the flashlight on/off, adjust between the five brightness levels, and access the three hidden modes (strobe, fast beacon, sos). To access the hidden blinking modes, turn the ring from the turbo mode to the off/standby mode, then back to the turbo mode.

I do hike in the wilderness quite a lot and was looking for a compact flashlight that was powerful enough to light up the trail in front of you as well as around you...yet light enough to carry in you back pack or belt holster. I found this flashlight to be just that. It is extremely bright...lighting up at over 150 yards ahead of me, yet with a very compact design. The power is comperable to some of the flashlights that are twice its size. The accessory package is awesome - Diffuser, clicker, holster etc. It has a life time warranty. What I like the most is the user interface...a ring design in front with 5 levels of brightness with hidden control for strobe, SOS, etc. I really love the quality of the product...very well designed indeed. Be careful - this flashlight comes in 7 different models - the M3C4 XPG R5 is probably the brightest...did not care much for the ST-50 model... When you don't need the full output, you can just use it at low power. This light is still rather large, but it fits nicely in the center console of my truck. This device did not come with rechargeable batteries. |
